Prayer Requests – February

Recently, we posted a devotional about the Prayer of Jabez, and how a student missionary might read and pray that Prayer. If you’re not familiar with 1 Chronicles 4:10, it’s simply this:

Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.

We find ourselves praying this as a ministry, as God is opening doors for us to not only venture in Loudoun County, but Washington D.C. public schools, too!

Please pray:

  1. For God to open the right doors to both continue in Loudoun and into D.C. We have not yet had an EDGE school in the District, so to God be the glory for this open door!
  2. For the continued resources to train student leaders, coaches, and local churches who will be instrumental in engaging this mission field.
  3. For the students we will have the opportunity to reach, especially in Washington, D.C. Please pray specifically for partner churches to rise up and be a part of reaching the students in the District!

Thank you so much for your prayers!

Our mission is to connect students to Jesus Christ and the local church.
